My name is Doug and I am a General Class Operator living in Fontanet Indiana.

My station consists of a Yaesu FTDX-5000, along with an FTDX-3000, an Ameritron AL82 amplifier, a 160-10 meter loop antenna, and a Carolina Windom at approximately 30 feet. I also have a 20-meter wire installed. 

Weather station listed at Weather Underground under N9JLR in Fontanet Indiana. 

I was the former Emergency Coordinator for Vigo County, Indiana.  

Former Police officer, Vigo County Schools, and the town of Cloverdale. 

Hopefully, I’m going to rebuild my radio room this year, and I have a tower that is going up soon as well. I have some antenna work that I’m going to be doing, and I’m going to become more involved in the hobby of radio in my retirement.
